The art of pyrography! Burning drawings into wood, leather cork and other materials. It is actually an ancient craft that is still alive and well as you may see. These are some of the portraits that I have sold and you will find more on the other pages of my site. You will find my contact information at the bottom of this page if you are interested in having a portrait done. On my About the artist page, you will find a more detailed summary of what I am available to do. The portraits that I create are all done by hand with a wood burning pen on wood that I personally select to enhance the subject,after I complete the portrait I put three coats of finish on them. There are several different types of wood that I use, if you have a preference for a particular wood, that can be arranged. In my galleries you will find a sample of some of the other portraits that I have sold. There is also a page of boxes, cutting boards, trays and even furniture that my husband custom builds and I can burn a design on it if you would like such as the dragon pictured on the chest of drawers that he built or it can be left unfinished.

I wanted people to know that I had Beth fix the Jimmie Johnson portrait for my husband. When I gave it to him on his birthday he loved the picture. I loved that she free handed the picture onto the wood before burning the picture into the wood. God has given Beth a talent & has blessed her dearly.

Beth has taken the two pictures of my grandfather & my dad & created a portrait that I am going to cherish for years to come. The lord has taked both of these men to be with him & Beth had created a portrait that I can see my two men in one picture for years to come. Everytime I look at this picture I will think of Beth & her talent of being able to give people something that they can not create with 2 seperate pictures. Thank you Beth for making the portrait of the men that once was in my life.
